PAWA Festival was aimed at publicly showcasing and promoting local and regional innovative urban art and culture to new audiences across the city and the county. The festival aimed to create platforms and opportunities for artistic expression and growth and contribute to Nairobi’s growing presence as a vibrant arts and culture hub in Africa
The festival featured live graffiti installations, art exhibitions, crafts, spoken word, rap, dance performances and exhibition stalls that highlighted the East African creative industry. With live performances from well established and emerging artists alike, the festival provided a space for artists to share their work and engage with an active audience on a wider platform.
